- Hi everyone My name is Hashmat. I came from Afghanistan in 2002 and I have been in New Zealand nearly 5 years. I live with my parents in Blockhouse Bay. I like soccer and tennis, and sometimes I play soccer with my friends. I like swimming but I cannot swim very well. I visited India and Pakistan before I came to New Zealand. When I arrived in New Zealand I couldn’t speak English, so I came to Unitec to study English and I really enjoy studying here because the teachers are very friendly and kind. I would like to study well in this class and I want to improve my English and after that I want to find a good job in New Zealand. I had set up a blogger on line and everyone welcome to visit and comment on it. I hope everyone who gets into it wil enjoy.
